Rose gold *aka* pink gold, has been a very popular trend in the last few years. Many people complain that traditional yellow gold doesn’t look great against their skin tone, but this pretty metal has more of a coppery, pinkish hue which is complementary to all skin tones.

Baby Mark arrived in October 2011 to two amazing parents, Kate & Ryan. While Kate & Ryan were awaiting Mark’s arrival they picked out adorable crib bedding for his nursery. I used inspiration from the Owls theme throughout Kate’s baby shower invitations, letters for Mark’s nursery & a growth chart for Mark’s room.

For Kate’s baby shower invitations I digitally re-illustrated the pattern, matched colors on the computer & used it to create a border for the invites.
