Hey!  My name is Sarah, welcome to Compliments!

My first customers were at summer camp when I was a kid, I would energetically produce friendship bracelets & boondoggles for all of my fellow campers. Gradually my product line evolved, now my graphic design background influences the one of a kind pieces that I create. After receiving a BFA in graphic design, I worked behind the scenes on 3D graphics in the television industry for many years. My experience in the corporate design world has helped me tremendously, now I get to design lots of fun things for you!

My husband, daughter, & I split time during the year between the Fingerlakes Region of New York & various countries in Europe. Our unique bi-continental lifestyle is a huge source of inspiration. Since we are always exploring new places, it gives me the opportunity to discover unique materials. Currently I’m using materials that I found in Italy, Switzerland, Finland, Sweden, Denmark & the USA.

Each of my pieces are handmade & one of a kind. When I create, I concentrate on color, texture, pattern & how they work together to create a finished piece. Quality is extremely important to me, I only use high-end materials that I would be proud to wear or display myself.

Working one-on-one with people & creating custom pieces is probably the best part of what I do. Brides are some of my favorite clients, collaborating with them to design gifts for their bridal party is a privilege.
