Quick update on some work I recently completed for my friends at gRUNola…
I recently finished revamping their website, they are now live with a new site where you can order their fabulous bars online! Check them out at grunola.com!
On a nerdy note, I had an awesome experience creating their site on the Shopify platform!

a wonderful washington dc inspired wedding
My awesome friends Sarah & Tom got married this summer. Sarah & Tom are a wonderful couple who met in Washington DC. They wanted to add a little bit of inspiration from the place they met to their wedding reception, so they named each of their tables after DC Metro stops.
I created this Seating Chart for their guests to “find their metro stop”. It was displayed framed on an easel in the entrance way to the dining room. The beautiful images were done by Sarah & Tom’s wonderful wedding photographer Anna Simonak, you can check out more of her work on her website.
The Table Identities were modeled after the columns found outside of the DC Metro Stops. We combined the blue wedding color theme with the typefaces that were used throughout the wedding stationary to modify the tradition look of the DC Metro stop signage.
It was an amazing day to celebrate the amazing couple, I was so honored to have been able to be a small part of their special day!

gRUNola
Some great people in my hometown have developed an incredible, delicious, all natural gRUNola bar! I can attest that all 3 flavors of these gRUNola bars are truly delish!!
They are on their way to manufacturing these bars on a large-scale and I was commissioned to help with some of the creative elements for their great product.
I helped develop their new packaging, created custom digital illustrations for their website, and offer creative consulting.
Please check out the gRUNola website to see how to find these great bars!

turquoise earrings for beautiful bridesmaids
My awesome friends Kate & TJ got married this summer in their hometown in Canada. Kate wanted to give her beautiful bridesmaids a very special gift that they would be able to enjoy after their wedding day. Kate decided that earrings would be a great gift for her girls, so we worked together to find the perfect turquoise stones to complement their pretty buttercup yellow dresses.
We chose these awesome turquoise Howlite slab style stones. Each stone is unique, so I paired stones that were a similar size to make pairs.
These beautiful photos taken by Kate & TJ’s photographer, Lindsay Fay of Maple Tree Photography, display how gorgeous the girls looked on the big day! Please check out Lindsay’s website for more of her wonderful photography!

whimsical chevron baby sower invitations
I designed these special Baby Shower Invitations at the request of the awesome host, Lyndsay. The gender of the baby was a surprise… so I used the color palette from the crib bedding that the parents-to-be chose for their little one!

owls for baby mark
Baby Mark arrived in October 2011 to two amazing parents, Kate & Ryan. While Kate & Ryan were awaiting Mark’s arrival they picked out adorable crib bedding for his nursery. The awesome Dwell Studio crib bedding set is aptly named “Owls”. It can be purchased online through Layla Grayce, here. I used inspiration from the Owls theme throughout Kate’s baby shower invitations, letters for Mark’s nursery & a growth chart for Mark’s room.
For Kate’s baby shower invitations I digitally re-illustrated the pattern, matched colors on the computer & used it to create a border for the invites. I then designed the text to finish them off.As a baby shower gift for the special parent’s to be, I hand painted letters & a growth chart to hang in Baby Mark’s new nursery. Again I took inspiration from Mark’s cool Owl bedding, matched colors & personalized the following…

a wonderful wedding
This weekend I was privileged to be a guest at an incredible wedding in NYC. One of my great friends {who I’ve known since first grade!} married her soul mate. Their celebration was elegant, classy & so much fun… just like them!
I was honored to have been asked to help them complete their vision of the event by creating the table identification, ceremony programs, & dinner menu cards.
The couple named each table after a special location that had meaning to them. They entrusted me with their pictures from each location & then I digitally modified them, making them black & white & adding text with the location’s name.
I created the ceremony programs to resemble the look & feel of their invitations.
The menu cards followed the same look & feel as the invitations & the programs.
