a wonderful washington dc inspired wedding

My awesome friends Sarah & Tom got married this summer. Sarah & Tom are a wonderful couple who met in Washington DC. They wanted to add a little bit of inspiration from the place they met to their wedding reception, so they named each of their tables after DC Metro stops.
I created this Seating Chart for their guests to “find their metro stop”. It was displayed framed on an easel in the entrance way to the dining room. The beautiful images were done by Sarah & Tom’s wonderful wedding photographer Anna Simonak, you can check out more of her work on her website.

We combined the blue wedding color theme with the typefaces that were used throughout the wedding stationary to modify the tradition look of the DC Metro stop signage.

It was an amazing day to celebrate the amazing couple, I was so honored to have been able to be a small part of their special day!

a wonderful wedding

This weekend I was privileged to be a guest at an incredible wedding in NYC. One of my great friends {who I’ve known since first grade!} married her soul mate. Their celebration was elegant, classy & so much fun… just like them!
I was honored to have been asked to help them complete their vision of the event by creating the table identification, ceremony programs, & dinner menu cards.

The couple named each table after a special location that had meaning to them. They entrusted me with their pictures from each location & then I digitally modified them, making them black & white & adding text with the location’s name.
