Quick update on some work I recently completed for my friends at gRUNola…
I recently finished revamping their website, they are now live with a new site where you can order their fabulous bars online! Check them out at grunola.com! On a nerdy note, I had an awesome experience creating their site on the Shopify platform!
My awesome friends Sarah & Tom got married this summer. Sarah & Tom are a wonderful couple who met in Washington DC. They wanted to add a little bit of inspiration from the place they met to their wedding reception, so they named each of their tables after DC Metro stops.
I created this Seating Chart for their guests to “find their metro stop”. It was displayed framed on an easel in the entrance way to the dining room. The beautiful images were done by Sarah & Tom’s wonderful wedding photographer Anna Simonak, you can check out more of her work on her website. The Table Identities were modeled after the columns found outside of the DC Metro Stops. We combined the blue wedding color theme with the typefaces that were used throughout the wedding stationary to modify the tradition look of the DC Metro stop signage.
It was an amazing day to celebrate the amazing couple, I was so honored to have been able to be a small part of their special day!

One of my favorite children’s books of all time is Eric Carle’s, The Very Hungry Caterpillar… so I was very excited to receive a request to paint letters inspired by the book!
These letters were to be given as a gift to a brand new baby, Caroline, whose nursery was decorated with Pottery Barn Kid’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar crib bedding. I was very inspired by the primary colors & painterly quality of the book’s illustrations so tried to convey that with these letters.

Some great people in my hometown have developed an incredible, delicious, all natural gRUNola bar! I can attest that all 3 flavors of these gRUNola bars are truly delish!!
They are on their way to manufacturing these bars on a large-scale and I was commissioned to help with some of the creative elements for their great product.
I helped develop their new packaging, created custom digital illustrations for their website, and offer creative consulting.
Please check out the gRUNola website to see how to find these great bars!
These letters were painted especially for Sweet Baby Ryan’s nursery. She has an adorable modern Jungle themed nursery that these will be displayed in! If you are interested in having me create something special for you, I welcome you to contact me!
My awesome friends Kate & TJ got married this summer in their hometown in Canada. Kate wanted to give her beautiful bridesmaids a very special gift that they would be able to enjoy after their wedding day. Kate decided that earrings would be a great gift for her girls, so we worked together to find the perfect turquoise stones to complement their pretty buttercup yellow dresses.
We chose these awesome turquoise Howlite slab style stones. Each stone is unique, so I paired stones that were a similar size to make pairs.
These beautiful photos taken by Kate & TJ’s photographer, Lindsay Fay of Maple Tree Photography, display how gorgeous the girls looked on the big day! Please check out Lindsay’s website for more of her wonderful photography!

My good friend, Ali, asked me to paint something special for her brother & sister-in-law who are expecting a sweet baby girl in the Spring. They hadn’t completely committed to a name for their soon to babe… so Ali asked me to paint a couple of extra letters so they could mix and match between the two names that they were debating (Ruby & Ellory).
I love the outcome of these particular letters! They incorporate so many design elements that I LOVE; bold bright color, graphical pattern, & awesome contrast!
I designed these special Baby Shower Invitations at the request of the awesome host, Lyndsay. The gender of the baby was a surprise… so I used the color palette from the crib bedding that the parents-to-be chose for their little one! I welcome you to contact me if you would like me to create something special for you!
This was another fun long distance request from a wonderful friend back in The States! Mommy Amy sent me pictures of Baby Hadley’s nursery & instructed me to go ahead & do whatever I wanted! I created these letters to match her lovely Brooklyn Pottery Barn Kids bedding. Check out the inspiration pictures of Baby Hadley’s nursery & the finished letters below!
I forgot to mention that for Baby Hadley’s letters I kept track of a few things I get asked about from time to time, so here are your fun facts for the day… I used 5 custom mixed colors and 20 different paintbrushes for the 6 letters of Hadley’s name! I welcome you to contact me if you would like something custom designed for you!
As many of you know, we move around more than the average family! Hopping around from country to country obviously has its benefits, but there are few quirky little draw backs along the way too! Long story short, we just received boxes of our personal items from our ’2011-12 hockey season home in Malmö Sweden, to our home this year in Augsburg Germany… after a 7 month wait!
Unpacking the boxes we discovered Maddie’s 2nd set of letters, that I made for her bedroom in Sweden. I realized that I rarely post things that I make for her! I created these to match her pink paisley Pottery Barn bedding. Whoa! That was a lot of P’s in one sentence! I would love to create something special for you, please contact me to discuss your options!
